Overview

St. Boniface has traditionally been referred to as the “Apostle to Germany” for his role in bringing the gospel to Germany through his missionary activity. In light of this, Pope Benedict XV points to his example shortly after the conclusion of World War I in order to inspire and bring healing to this war-torn region of Europe. This encyclical seeks to remind all of Boniface’s devotion to Christ and example of sanctity. This resource contains the Latin text.
