Top Highlights

“Let it be stated initially that this author’s preference is for the No Relationship View. It would seem this is the only view that avoids theological confusion and maintains a consistent distinction between Israel and the church.” (Volume 13, Number 40, Page 28)

“A glaring problem remains. On what basis is regeneration and forgiveness of sins for church age believers related to the new covenant?” (Volume 13, Number 40, Page 16)

“Reference was to the style of his ministry, rather than to the doctrinal content of the new covenant. Thus, this verse does not support any kind of a realized eschatology, or church participation in the new covenant.” (Volume 13, Number 40, Page 45)

“The expression ‘new covenant’ expresses either the content of Paul’s message, or it expresses the manner in which Paul conducted his ministry.” (Volume 13, Number 40, Page 45)

“Second, the distinction of pronouns used and inclusion of original-recipient language” (Volume 13, Number 40, Page 20)
