The sacrament of penance has fallen on hard times in recent decades. About Frank O’Loughlin

Frank O’Loughlin, STD, was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Melbourne, Australia, in 1969. He has a PhD in systematic theology from the Urban University in Rome. Since 1977 he has lectured widely in sacramental theology and liturgy, and was director of the Diocesan Liturgy Centre in Melbourne from 1977 to 1992. He continues to write and lecture, and currently serves as the parish priest of Sandringham in Melbourne.
