Top Highlights

“To seek the Lord means that we make our relationship with Him our priority and foremost desire. No matter what happens to us or around us, we choose to obey God, follow God, and have a daily and intimate relationship with God. To seek the Lord means to want the Lord in every aspect of your life—every moment of every day. It means to be ‘in pursuit’ of the Lord—eager to talk to Him, listen to Him, and to consult Him at all times and in all situations we encounter. Those who truly seek the Lord ask the Holy Spirit to lead them and guide them daily. They ask the Lord to meet their needs in His way, according to His timing and methods—including their need to experience His love.” (Page 18)

“Conditional love grants love as a reward for good behavior. Unconditional love separates love from deeds—unconditional love is bestowed because of who you are as God’s creation. It is granted on the motivation of who God is, not on what you do.” (Page 23)

“While it is true that God hates sinful thoughts, words, and deeds, it is equally true that God loves you always. He loves you regardless of what you do. He rewards you, however, according to what you do.” (Page 23)

“In what areas do I need to show more love to others? (Are these areas in which I need more love from God?)” (Page viii)

“Our part is only to accept it—to believe and receive.” (Page 13)
