The Mark of Cain explores an interesting period in the history of mankind. Man has begun developing an urban lifestyle, new technological skills, and cultural innovations, including cities, metal working, music, and songs. Unfortunately, concurrent with these advancements, an unethical society develops. This can be seen in Lemech’s song, where he boasts about the men he slaughtered.
