One thing Tripp gets wrong in his short introduction - and the Overview here on the page as well - which may become relevant for some users in the current calendar year: the devotional actually contains 366 devotions, you won't run empty on Feb 29th. Leaving that aside, from what I've read so far, this book contains not fluff, but meaningful insights - not short quips but lengthy texts per day that deserve thinking and praying over.

Best devotional Ever. So far I have bought about 8-10 copies and given them as gifts. Sad to say though I don't think the receivers appreciate what they have. I particularly like how Paul names the various graces or state of graces; eg forgiving and rescuing grace; transforming and enabling grace. I particularly like how he allows us to self-assess by pointing to the relevant scriptures reminding us constantly that sin is our problem and Jesus is the only answer. Thank you for such a wonderful gift; may God continue to bless you, all glory to Him. NB Im in my second year of using it and probably never stop. I was just thinking here how I can access "print library catalog." Since my version is silver, I need gold to access it.I think a still small voice just told me why don't you buy the book from logos.
