Overview

Written by W. W. Rugh, the founder of The Bible Institute of Pennsylvania (now Philadelphia College of Bible), this book explains, in brief and simple manner, the typical teaching concerning the person and work of Jesus Christ, as represented in the Old Testament tabernacle. A helpful reference for all who want to delve deeper into the typology of that structure, and an excellent tool for use in the study of the Pentateuch.

“The fine twined linen to us is typical of the righteousness of God. In Rev. 19:8 we are told that ‘the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints.’ This is true when the saints have the linen on, but the linen about God’s dwelling place is typical of God’s righteousness.” (source)

“Repentance means a change of mind, with reference to sin, self, and God.” (source)

“Jehovah designed His own sanctuary and set it up in the midst of Israel’s camp as His dwelling place, meeting place, and revealing place.” (source)

“The brass pillars and brass sockets which held up the hangings of linen speak to us typically of judgment” (source)

“He did not deal with us on the ground of law, but on the ground of grace, for His love provided a Substitute to be judged in our Place, who by faith laid down His life for us.” (source)

Jewist interest in our Home is very in important I do beleive that we have miss a lot in our christian history by not paying attention to the way of God in the old testament ( I do beleive that the Church is declining fast it is time to pay very close attention to the way's of God)
