Overview

The players are nearing the stage. The props are being put into position. All of heaven watches. It's the long-awaited week. A week when no angel dares to sing. A hush falls over heaven as Jesus faces his final days. Note the firmness in His walk. Hear the conviction in His voice. Witness the courage of His deeds.

SEE HIS PASSION ... the Savior who will not give up on His children until they are found.

SEE HIS POWER ... the God who will not tolerate hollow religion.

HEAR HIS PROMISE ... the Redeemer who would rather go to hell for you than heaven without you.

With a gentleness laced with a new boldness, Max Lucado will help you see the heart of Christ and remember what really matters.

“The journey to the cross began long before. As the echo of the crunching of the fruit was still sounding in the garden, Jesus was leaving for Calvary.” (Page 25)

“Before the war began, he forgave. Before a mistake could be made, forgiveness was offered. Before blame could be given, grace was provided.” (Page 28)

“The people who make a difference are not the ones with the credentials, but the ones with the concern.” (Page 90)

One of the best books I have ever read on the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As usual, Max Lucado gets down to your level and explains Jesus passion, power, and promise in a very real way.
