Thomas Schreiner (b. 1954), a conservative evangelicaltheologian, has been professor of New Testament Interpretation at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky since 1997. He previously served 11 years on the faculty at Bethel Theological Seminary, and also taught New Testament at Azusa Pacific University. Schreiner received a B.S. from Western Oregon University, an M.Div. and Th.M. from Western Conservative Baptist Seminary, and his Ph.D.Â from Fuller Theological Seminary.
