Renowned nineteenth-century writer John Keble used his wildly popular poetry to spread his theology and love of God throughout the country, and his sermons challenged all of England. “National Apostasy,” included in this text, sparked the religious revival called the Tractarian Movement, also known as the Oxford Movement.
