Challenge your faith, your life, and your church with more than 330 sermons from former pastor of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama, David Platt—one of the most provocative preachers working in ministry today. Author of the runaway best seller Radical, Platt places the ministry of the gospel plainly in front of his listeners and calls them to compassion and service as they learn to be faithful followers of Christ. This massive archive presents sermons on a host of topics, including salvation, discipleship, culture, suffering, missions, family, and much more. You’ll be challenged. You’ll be encouraged. David Platt

David Platt is deeply devoted to Christ and his Word. David’s first love in ministry is making disciples—sharing, showing, and teaching God’s Word in everyday life. He has traveled extensively to serve alongside church leaders throughout the United States and around the world.

Beginning in 2006, David served as the pastor of the Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama. Currently, David is the president of the International Mission Board. He is the founder of Radical, a resource ministry that exists to serve the church in accomplishing the mission of Christ.

A life-long learner, David has earned two undergraduate and three advanced degrees. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism (ABJ) from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Divinity (MDiv), Master of Theology (ThM) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has previously served at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as dean of chapel and assistant professor of expository preaching and apologetics, and as staff evangelist at Edgewater Baptist Church in New Orleans.

David is the author of Follow Me, Radical, and Radical Together.

I really love David Platt and his sermons. However, there are two things that would make this resource better. First, I wish that this also came with audio so that I could listen to the sermons personally. Second, I wish that the table of contents broke these up into series. They only have each individual message title, and so you have to go through all of them to see which ones are a part of a specific series.

Anyone interested in evangelism or missions should look to Platt. Although the scope of his messages can be narrow, compared to the greats, he still hits a home run with the topics that really matter.
