Subtitled "The History of the Patriarchs," this time-honored resource is based on the lectures of Henry Hunter given over a period of several years. The style of the author has been preserved, and only the spellings updated where appropriate. The Subtitles were added by the editor to enable easier handling of the text. The original layout of the book had the verse text with each simple title, enabling the student to quickly ascertain the subject of each lecture.
