The Companion Bible has been a trusted resource for personal Bible study for almost a century. Originally published in six parts from 1909 to 1922, this classic study Bible, in its print edition, featured a two-column format, with Scripture on the left and notes on the right, covering Genesis through Revelation. The Logos edition makes it possible to use the study notes alongside any of your Bibles. Anglican clergyman and dispensationalist theologian E. W. Bullinger’s notes feature extensive analysis of biblical style and structure, and are an excellent primary source for understanding dispensational theology. Bullinger’s passion for personal Bible study and its aid in righteous living preserve the Companion Bible as a great resource for getting into the Word.

Please note: This product does not contain the Bible text, but it does include all the study notes found in the equivalent print version. You can purchase your preferred translation here or in a Logos Bible Software collection. The Companion Bible can be used together with any Bible in your digital library. Just open The Companion Bible and another Bible, then click the “chain link” icon in each resource and select “Set A” for each. (Need Help? We have a tutorial just for you!)

Ethelbert William Bullinger (1837–1913) was an Anglican biblical scholar, theologian, and clergyman. He served in parish ministry throughout his life and was clerical secretary of the Trinitarian Bible Society from 1867 until his death in 1913. He is most recognizable for his role in developing ultradispensational theology, which is sometimes referred to as “Bullingerism.” His best-known works are the Companion Bible, A Critical Lexicon and Concordance to the English and Greek New Testament, and Figures of Speech Used in the Bible.

carlos hernandez A few seconds ago Incredible resource!. The Bible is explained by itself with help of this resource. A whole life of dedication to bring this complementary book to life. As it is said: This is not a commentary...this is not a ammended translation of the AKJ. A previous jewel!

I think it very misleading to have sample pages of the Companion Bible shown but, as the description says, the delivered Bible contains only his Appendices and margin notes. Having used the Companion Bible, the text itself provides other indicators tying them to the margin notes. Please remove the sample pages from the description. Several others commented they were "disappointed" because they procured this item expect to find the text included.

Thank you for adding this resource! I have been looking forward to it. I just tested it out today, with the link set feature as someone mentioned and I like what I see. The most important aspects for me are the notes and the appendices which are linked to the Bible verses in any Bible Version I am using. A big thumbs up!!!!!

It's there now, but be aware that it is everything that the Companion bible hard copy is with the exception of the actual King James Bible Text. I was disappointed to say the least!

I was excited when I saw it was coming to Logos, I've been using it for over 30 years. I received my order yesterday and they only have the notes portion of the bible. They said to use the KJV with it, as you know the bible portion is as important as the notes. I want to start a campaign to get the bible portion of the bible. Please Help! Its still worth the purchase.
