In this Volume, Bloesch takes on Christology with an emphasis on Soteriology and Sovereignty. I especially appreciated the coverage on the Incarnation and Virgin Birth. As with previous volumes, this is a re-read for me - and this volume I read originally about 15 years ago. I find Bloesch quite easy to read, and his arguments easy to follow. I also appreciate the way he summarises other views, and supplies a reasonable amount of references, thus allowing for further research if so desired. The one downside of this volume, I would argue, is that there needs to be more on Jesus in his First Century Jewish setting. Well worth reading!
