Overview
Clark Pinnock has clearly been one of the most important evangelical theologians of the last forty years in North America. Always provocative, especially in the wide range of opinions that he has held and considered, Pinnock has recently retired after twenty-five years of teaching at McMaster Divinity College. His colleagues and associates are honoring him with this volume by responding to his important theological works.
Pinnock’s work in the course of his career has dealt with the essential topics in evangelical theology. These include such important topics as Christian apologetics, biblical inspiration, the Holy Spirit and perhaps most importantly in recent years, openness theology.
The essays in this volume, by those who both agree and disagree with Pinnock’s stances on these issues, address various dimensions of these important subjects – as an attempt to enhance understanding and push forward debate.
