Janice C. Imhoff M.D. is a medical practitioner who lives and works in Guyana, South America. In 1990, she graduated with a medical degree from the University of Havana, Cuba; and in 2015, she obtained a B.Sc. in Clinical Psychology from the American University of Peace Studies Inc. She is a playwright and the author of two non-fiction books: Our Words Will Be There (2005) and Conversations: Pieces of the Truth (2015). In 2017, she completed the course introduction to Writing Guyanese Creole (Creolese), at the University of Guyana. She has recently published her first film – Kriiyoliiz (Creolese) – one of Guyana’s mother languages.
