Overview

In A Greek and English Lexicon to the New Testament, S. T. Bloomfield draws on the many years he spent working on his widely used edition of Greek New Testament. Bloomfield’s work updates and expands the work of Dr. Robinson in his Greek Lexicon to the New Testament. While focusing primarily on New Testament usage, Bloomfield draws on other works, apocryphal writings, the Septuagint, Josephus, Philo, Classical Greek texts, and more. Where appropriate, Bloomfield also looks at particular Hebrew words that shed light on the Greek usage. Written with the student in mind, Bloomfield’s revision aims at utility and convenience over erudition.

The Logos edition of A Greek and English Lexicon to the New Testament allows you to link to and from the other Greek and Hebrew texts in your library. You can also cross-reference to and from other lexicons, giving you the unprecedented ability to compare entries on a single word across multiple lexicons and texts.
