What does it mean to be a Christian? Answers to this question in both the secular world and the church have often been anything but clear. In this book, Jesse Hamilton seeks to provide a simple, clear, and honest answer to the question of what it really means to be a Christian. Intended for both believers and unbelievers alike, How to Be a Christian considers the full range of the New Testament evidence and presents the Christian life as Jesus and his apostles both taught and lived it. At the heart of this message lies a call to an all-out commitment to the teaching and mission of Jesus that both the world and the church desperately need to recover in our increasingly corrupt times.
“Many churches today have strayed from what biblical salvation is. This book presents a clear explanation of what the elements of biblical salvation are and what salvation looks like in the life of the believer. This is a must-read for all to answer the most important question of life: ‘Am I a Christian?’ I would highly recommend this book to all for a thorough examination of one’s state before God.”
—Ron Hodge, elder, Springs of Grace Baptist Church
