About Maurice Jones

Maurice Jones (1863–1957) was educated at Friars School, Bangor, Christ College, Oxford, and Jesus College, Oxford. Receiving his Doctorate of Divinity in 1914, Jones went on to become the chaplain to the Forces. Jones was elected Rector of Rotherfield Peppard from 1915 to 1923, and later became the external examiner for Oxford University, as well as the University of Wales.
