CO111 Gospel-Centered Counseling
Overview
Gospel-Centered Counseling introduces biblical counseling with a focus on Christ’s redemptive work on the cross. The course shows how the gospel applies in everyday situations and emphasizes the power of God’s Word to change lives. It provides sample case studies that teach how to best counsel and minister to broken and hurting people. The course illustrates how the work of Christ can transform both your life and the lives of those you encounter.

Elyse Fitzpatrick has been counseling women since 1989. She is a retreat and conference speaker and the head of Women Helping Women Ministries. Fitzpatrick has a certificate in biblical counseling from CCEEF in San Diego and an MA in biblical counseling from Trinity Theological Seminary.
She is the author of more than 15 books, including Love to Eat, Hate to Eat. Fitzpatrick has developed an extensive curriculum in biblical counseling and has trained students in both North and South America.
