This first book contains a synopsis of each day's Scripture reading. The value of this devotional book will be best realized when the Scripture text is read for each day. Reading this book without reading the Scripture text will make the book seem disconnected and meaningless. It also needs to be noted that every verse of the day's reading assignment is not commented on in the synopsis. The synopsis is only an overall view of the main subjects of the reading, not a detailed commentary.
