Overview

Dear to the hearts of many Christians is the land of the Bible, which today is convulsed by strife. Contradictory claims about the past, present, and future of this land can be bewildering. The essays in this volume invite Christians of every denomination to share in perspectives that are solidly grounded in Scripture and tradition, yet serve as alternatives to the currently prevailing approaches. Through reading Zionism through Christian Lenses, one can join the discussion about the ramifications of today’s ongoing crisis, ancient Israel’s Covenant, and the post-Reformation experiences of various branches of Christianity.

I wrote a point for buyers of this book to consider yesterday, but Faithlife deleted it? Possibly because I linked it to an article from the author of this book. Anyway, here is a simplified version (with no links). Bottomline, if you want to know what perspective the author is coming from in case it affects your wanting to read/purchase this, the author is very clear in her own writings on web articles that she is "Pro Palestinian" and so are four of the other co-authors of this book. So, whatever that is worth to you, know that is the primary focus you will get in this book even though it is pitched in its own description in a way trying to make it appear balanced. Again, sorry I can't link the exact article from the author I am referencing. But if you google, you will find it.
