Overview

This collection of Traherne’s poetry was assembled and published for the first time by Bertram Dobell at the turn of the twentieth century. Dobell acquired the original manuscripts from a man who found them in a “barrow of books about to be trashed.” The text contains 53 poems from Traherne, including poems from his Christian Ethics, and several short prose writings.
