I owned the hardback version of this entire set, and purchased one at a time from various sources. Some were used, others were new. I found them to be so very helpful in my study for teaching a Sunday School class that I gave them to a young preacher boy and then purchased them from Logos. The electronic version is much easier to find things in! Wonderful commentaries. Thanks Dr. MacArthur! Thanks Logos!

This is a great commentary set but buyer should be aware that some of the volumes Logos used to produce this set are older and missing content found in the current set. You can search for MNTC and find the "revised edition" of Matthew being sold but there are other volumes affected as well. There is no revised edition in paperback. I have asked Logos to reach out to Moody to get these fixed but they have not as of the date of this review and choose instead to sell a revised edition. How this works if you choose to cite these is a mystery.

I love this series along with H.A. Ironside's Commentaries (32 Volumes). Both authors are similar. MacArthur reminds med of Matthew: faithful, accurate, true to the precious Word of God. H.A. Ironside reminds me of John, that great lover of the Lord. Together the two make a great pair to read each commentary on a passage and search on similar themes from each author. MacArthur quotes from Ironside sometimes in his sermons and they would love each other if they were alive in the same decades!
