Proclaim gives pastors master remote to services
Church presentation remote app now lets pastors read sermon notes alongside slides, integrates PowerPoint, Highway Media, Faithlife Study Bible, Graceway Media, multimonitor capabilities
BELLINGHAM, Wash., October 4, 2012 — Proclaim church presentation software’s new features let pastors control every aspect of their services on their feet with a swipe or a touch. With Proclaim’s remote app, pastors can now read sermon notes and simultaneously run presentations on their iPads or Android tablets. IPhone and Android phone users, too, can use the free remote app to control their services. Other new integrations to the app include PowerPoint, Highway Media, the Faithlife Study Bible, Graceway Media and a multiple-monitor interface.
“Pastors are preaching from iPads and other tablet devices in record numbers,” says Proclaim New Media Executive Director Matt Peterson. “Now they have the ability to control the slides while viewing their notes. This app gives pastors total control to make stellar visual presentations alongside well-delivered messages.”
Peterson sees multiple advantages to the app’s new features.
“Pastors and worship leaders no longer have to worry about whether their technical crews are in sync,” Peterson adds. “And with Proclaim’s latest integrations, church leaders can pull from multiple digital sources and features to create seamless presentations that look and sound as if tons of time and money were poured into them.”
Proclaim now lets church staff import PowerPoint files into services. The addition of Highway Media brings scores of new multimedia, from videos to illustrations, while Graceway Media provides 10,000 presentation backgrounds. Proclaim also works with the free Faithlife Study Bible app, already used by many congregations to get more out of church presentations. And the recent free automatic update to Proclaim gives subscribers control of a confidence monitor, from which they can read and simultaneously send the presentation to as many screens as needed. CCLI SongSelect and Planning Center Online are a few of the other resources already accessible through Proclaim.
