Logos Bible Software Now Available to over 3 Billion People in Their Own Language
Faithlife Corporation’s flagship product aims to increase biblical literacy around the world

Bellingham, WA (February 15, 2017) – Today, Faithlife Corporation is announcing the release of Logos Bible Software in Korean. Logos—a suite of digital tools and texts for in-depth Bible study—saw five major releases in 2016, including packages in Portuguese, German, Chinese, Spanish, and English. With today’s release, 3 billion people around the world can now use Logos in their native language.

“This is the first time that, for some of these languages, a robust digital Bible study platform like Logos has ever been available,” says Phil Gons, vice president of Bible study products.

The new releases increase the availability of digital Bible study resources for pastors, missionaries, and other Christians around the globe. “This is an important milestone for us, and for the Church at large,” says Faithlife CEO and co-founder Bob Pritchett. “We founded the company with a vision of increasing biblical literacy around the world. Expanding the accessibility of our tools to so many people at once is especially rewarding as we celebrate 25 years in 2017.”

The software includes a fully searchable library of biblical and theological resources as well as tools and data on the biblical text and relevant literature. Designed for sermon preparation, biblical scholarship, and personal Bible study, Logos is popular with pastors and scholars, earning praise from evangelical luminaries such as Tim Keller, Matt Chandler, John Piper, and D.A. Carson.

“Our digital tools have always been designed to help you search for biblical answers not just within a single resource, but across an entire library,” Gons adds. “With our new releases, many, many more Christians can do that work in their original language.”
