Technologist and futurist Aaron Linne will be joining the Logos Bible Software leadership team as Director of Church Products. In this new role, Linne will lead the ongoing development of Logos' online community platform, Faithlife.com, and its church presentation software, Proclaim.

"Linne is a digital native with a passion for helping the church use technology to advance its mission," said Bob Pritchett, president and CEO of Logos. "We are excited to add his skills as a futurist and innovator to our awesome team."

Linne comes to Logos Bible Software with a background in leading diverse, talented technology teams, having served as a change agent and innovator at LifeWay Christian Resources for the past 11 years. As a digital pioneer, he led LifeWay in the development of new digital business models, innovative marketing techniques and agile development processes. As a key driver for his organization's digital efforts, Linne created their first blog, loaded their first track to iTunes and developed LifeWay's digital downloads and online Bible studies business and strategy. Most recently, Linne served as the Director of Technology for the B&H Publishing Group, leading the production of over 250 videos, dozens of websites, a web-based e-reader, MyStudyBible.com and over 50 apps across the iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Xbox 360 platforms, including the WORDsearch mobile app.

"Logos Bible Software has been at the forefront of using technology to help disciple the church and to empower people to spread the Gospel," Linne said. "I'm both honored and humbled to join the Logos team to help build today the tool the church needs tomorrow."

Linne's move to Logos Bible Software from a traditional publishing enterprise is remarkable because he is one of the few professionally trained futurists working in the Christian marketplace. "But," Linne said, "I'm not moving to a 'competitor' — Logos and LifeWay are partners in ministry and will continue working together to equip leaders to best serve their local churches."

Linne's passion is to equip the church and spread the Gospel. "No other company in the world is doing what Logos Bible Software is doing with technology to serve the Body of Christ. I simply want to be a part of that; I want to help build tools today that church leaders will use tomorrow, next year, and thirty years down the road," he said.

Linne has a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University and holds a Graduate Certificate in Strategic Foresight from the University of Houston. He earned a Bachelor of Science in both Religious Education and Communication from Campbellsville University.
