Logos Bible Software tops 25,000 Christian ebooks
World’s leading publisher of digital Bible study resources expanding in shrinking economy
BELLLINGHAM, Wash., June 21, 2012 — This month, Logos Bible Software passed 25,000 digital Christian resources offered, a figure growing steadily despite the economy’s downward trend. Unlike scanned copies, Logos ebooks let readers interact and share not only through Facebook and Twitter, but also through Logos’ new Christian social media platform, Faithlife. Embedded maps, photos, videos and charts, as well as pop-up Bible verses, add a whole new dimension to the reading experience, which can be further customized with notes, highlighting, copy and pasting, library searches and more features.
“When we started out 20 years ago, it was virtually inconceivable that you could fit a massive library of 25,000 books in the palm of your hand, which is exactly what you can do through our advanced Bible app,” said Logos President and CEO Bob Pritchett.
Partnering with more than 150 publishers, Logos — which recently launched Vyrso: Christian Ebooks and Kirkdale Press — continues to steadily up its electronic resource offerings. Users can read Logos titles via a number of platforms, including Logos 4, the mobile Logos Bible app, the Vyrso ereader app, the Kindle, the Nook and other ereaders.
Available in dozens of languages, Logos Bible study tools and resources are used in more than 200 countries. They can be accessed on Macs, PCs, iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches and Android-enabled devices.
