Why So Many Resources for Thompson Chain?

A Logos user contacted MPSeminars with this question:

I recently purchased the Thompson Chain Reference Library. When I went to my Library I was expecting to see one study Bible, but instead I saw numerous resources listed. Can you explain why so many books for this one title?

"thompson chain" entered into the search bar in Logos

I’ve actually received this question several times since Thompson Chain released in Logos.

The short answer is this:

In print the Thompson Chain Reference Bible is one edition containing the marginal references with the biblical text followed by numerous study aid sections in the back of the Bible. The Logos team placed these various sections in separate Logos resources. While at first glance this may appear confusing, the individual resources actually facilitate even more power in the Logos format!
