How to Quickly Locate a Bible Verse with the Go Box

A friend and fellow Logos user told me when he needs to locate a Bible verse, he uses a Google search instead of Logos because it’s easier and faster. Of course, I didn’t buy that! Instead, I showed him what I’m about to show you: use the Logos Go box to locate a verse!

Imagine we’re trying to locate Galatians 2:20. We know a few words in the verse, but not the exact reference. Here’s where the Go box shows off.

  • Type a few words from the verse in the Go box, such as crucified live (A)
  • Click in the Search section of the drop-down list the option to search for the words in your preferred Bible (B)

  • Notice a Bible Search panel opens with hopefully your verse in the results! (C)

  • To speed up the process even more, use the keyboard shortcut appearing to the right of the search option in the list. (D)
