Create a Custom Study Bible

Study Bibles are great resources for quick information on a passage, especially when you’re reading for personal devotions. But what happens when your favorite study Bible doesn’t come in your preferred translation? If you use the print version, you’re stuck with the versions made available by the publisher. But with Logos, you can link your favorite translation with your favorite study Bible notes, creating your own customized study Bible. In this video, one of our Logos Pros shows you how it’s done. Check it out.

How to build a custom study Bible

Build your study Bible with your favorite resources

Here are a few resources to get you started on your own custom Study Bible:

  • Apologetics Study Bible Notes – With contributions from respected authors such as Chuck Colson, Norman Geisler, and Al Mohler, this unique take on a traditional Bible study will equip you to answer objections from skeptics and address your own lingering questions.
  • Reformation Study Bible Notes – Edited by R.C. Sproul and featuring scholarship from respected Reformed scholars such as James Montgomery Boice, J.I. Packer, and Wayne Grudem, this 2015 update to the popular study Bible is full of careful exposition in the Reformed tradition.
  • The Net Bible – The NET Bible is a great first stop in your study of translational and linguistic issues. It includes over 60,000 footnotes and has been praised by respected pastors and scholars such as Wayne Grudem, Chuck Swindoll, and Gene Getz.
  • The ESV Study Bible Notes – The ESV was a big hit as soon as it was released. Crossway followed the success of the ESV with the ESV Study Bible, and it was no disappointment. It’s full of rich media and outstanding scholarship that is “equivalent to a 20-volume Bible resource library all contained in one volume.”
