Q: What are the system requirements for Logos Bible Software 4 on PC and Mac?
A: The minimum requirements for running Logos 4 on a PC are:
- Pentium 4
- 1 GB RAM
- Windows XP SP3
- DVD drive
- 12 GB hard drive space on local drive (May require additional space depending on your library).
- 1024X600 Display
- 128 MB DirectX 9 graphics device
- Internet connection required for activation
The recommended requirements for running Logos 4 on a PC are:
- Core2 Duo
- 3GB RAM
- Windows Vista Or Windows 7
- DVD drive
- 1280X1024 display
- 512MB DirectX9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
- 20 GB hard drive space on local drive (May require additional space depending on your library).
- Broadband internet connection
Final recommended requirements for running Logos 4 on a Mac have not been established. For now, we recommend:
- Mac OS X 10.5 or later (Mac OS X 10.6 recommended)
- Intel only (PowerPC not supported)
- 1.5 GB RAM
- 8 GB hard drive space
- DVD-ROM

A: Yes, Logos 4 will work in Windows 7, both 32- or 64-bit operating systems.

A: Logos 4 will run on a netbook with the minimum system requirements above. To get the most out of Logos 4, we highly recommend installing on a computer that meets or exceeds the recommended system requirements.

Q: How do I copy Logos 4 books to my hard drive?
A: The last step in the installation process is indexing—when Logos automatically copies your books to your hard drive. Logos 4 indexes your entire library word-for-word so you can search thousands of books in less time than it takes to pull one print book from the shelf. Depending on the size of your library, this may take a while, but once it’s completed, you can spend more time studying and less time searching.
