Line 1 Error in Libronix DLS with Dragon Naturally Speaking

Problem:

When generating a Passage Guide, Exegetical Guide, Bible Word Study, Search Analysis, Account Summary, and other reports, a tip window appears with the following error (or similar) -- the tip window may continually flash, making it difficult to read the error details.

Line 1 (PassageGuide.html): Object required  [or (ExegeticalGuide.html), etc.]

Solution:

Cause:

This error is caused by a conflict with Dragon Naturally Speaking software.

Workaround:

In Dragon Naturally Speaking, version 8, turning the Microphone Off will prevent the errors in Libronix.  However, this workaround does not work in version 9. See below for steps to resolve the conflict, provided by Nuance, the makers of Dragon Naturally Speaking. These steps are also included in a Nuance Knowledge Base article.

1. On the DragonBar, open the Tools menu.
2. Click the Options menu item.
3. In the Options dialog, select the Commands tab.
4. Uncheck "Enable Commands in HTML Windows." (See Note below.)
5. Click Apply and OK.
6. Close the Dragon Bar.
7. Restart the computer.

Note: This may cause problems when dictating into HTML windows, such as web browsers or email clients configured to use HTML format.
