Detailed List of Changes in LDLS 3.0c

This is a detailed list of new features and bug fixes in version 3.0c of the Libronix Digital Library System.

New Features

Account Management dialog now shows graphical progress display as resources are discovered
Added “All Open Resources” option to Bibliography report
Right-click Speed Search for transliterated text now automatically matches diacritical marks and accents
EnableLogging.reg file replaced with EnableLogging.js script; logging is now controlled by HKEY_CURRENT_USER keys (instead of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE)
Windows Installer log files are now written to My Documents\Libronix Log Files
Errors that occur more than once in session are only logged once (for error reporting to Libronix Corporation)
Added Scheherazade font (for Arabic text)
Media Player dialog allows the initial starting time (within the media) to be set programmatically
Added support for the Ethiopic, Old Persian, Papiamento, and Persian languages

Lemma List for Greek Morphology (Logos) includes updated OpenText.org Greek lemmas
Added new “Illustrations” section to Passage Guide that searches resources with homiletical illustrations
Passage Guide “Topics” section now only searches topical Bibles and Bible dictionaries
Added data caching: the Translations and Grammatical Relationships sections in the Bible Word Study report cache intermediate results for faster display the next time they are used. (This feature can be controlled in the Power Tools Options dialog.)
More Spanish lexicons added as potential sources of glosses for the Exegetical Guide
Exegetical Guide highlights words with a more vivid color (for better laptop screen and projector support)
Verse List copies only references to clipboard if "References Only" style is selected
Added transliteration schemes for the Coptic and Ugaritic scripts (see the Bible Tools Options dialog)

Added link to Video Tutorials to Help menu (for Logos customers) and Bible Tools Addin Help
Updated Help files

Updated OpenText.org resources and syntax database to fix incorrectly-classified pronouns

Fixed minor discrepancies between how a query is displayed in the Syntax Search dialog and how it is displayed in the search results report
Updated OpenText.org syntax database and Greek New Testament resources
Syntax Search dialog shows short English glosses when displaying a list of matching lexemes

Improved Setup.exe (used by Zip and CD-based installation) compatibility with User Account Control
Libronix DLS runs correctly with UAC on Windows Vista
Libronix DLS supports multiple user accounts on Windows Vista
Only "Libronix DLS Administrators" can change system settings; for more information, see the "Libronix DLS Administration" topic in the Help
New LdlsAdmn.exe program to grant LDLS administrative permissions to Windows user accounts (see Help for more information)
Tools > Libronix Update now works correctly on Vista
Libronix Update now requires that Libronix DLS always be shut down when updates are being installed
Libronix DLS supports user-defined system locales

Fixed bug causing the wrong text to be added to the Morphological Search dialog when right-clicking on certain lemmas and choosing "Search..."
Fixed bug causing Verse List to use the wrong versification scheme when copying text to the clipboard
Fixed bug causing Company Information report to always display company titles in English (when localized titles were available)
Fixed bug causing Copy Bible Verses and Verse List to omit footnotes when copying multiple verses to the clipboard
Fixed bug causing "Conjunction, Other" to be omitted from Andersen-Forbes Hebrew morphological UI
Fixed memory leak in Bible Word Study (Grammatical Relationships section)

Fixed bug preventing PBB books (with invalid cover images) from being discovered

Fixed bug causing Libronix Update to attempt to install files while Libronix DLS was running, leading to Error Code 18

Fixed bug causing the error message "Windows installer has stopped working" to be displayed

Fixed bug causing the "Program Compatibility Assistant" dialog to display (with the message "This program might not have installed correctly")

Fixed bug preventing export to PDF (from Sentence Diagram) working on Windows Vista
