Allen's introduction is worth reading. His theory of Luke as the author does much to flavor the commentary interpretation for the positive. The weak link is his handling of the apostasy passages.

I have a large collection of commentaries on Hebrews. This is the best, most comprehensive, most trustworthy book on Hebrews in my library.
