About the Author
Timothy S. Laniak is Professor of Old Testament and Coordinator of the Urban Ministry Program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. His research and ministry passions combine social anthropology and the study of Scripture. He has studied in the Middle East for extended periods and periodically leads tours to the region. He is also the author of While Shepherds Watch Their Flocks: Reflections on Biblical Leadership.
