AM is provided by the Moody Distance Learning Center, the distance learning division of Moody Bible Institute. For over 100 years, Moody has prepared men and women for a lifetime of Christian service, offering one of the finest Bible educations available. In fact, they basically invented the idea of distance education...more than a century ago! It was called correspondence courses.
What used to be accomplished with pen and paper, postage stamps and print books, is now available via state-of-the-art, interactive computer technology. The content is as biblically sound and masterfully taught as ever, but the medium is more convenient, powerful and interactive than ever. By taking advantage of the huge theological library available via Logos Bible Software, the course instructors have provided a level of quality never before achieved in distance education!
Instead of just reading an excerpt from a book, you can read entire articles. Instead of being referred to a Bible passage, you can click and it opens. Rather than paying a visit to the library with a "for further reading" bibliography in hand, you can just click on a title in the "Opportunities for Deeper Study" section of each lesson and open a book you already own! This helps you get deeper in your study and opens up the life-changing Word of God.
The AM courses are grouped into four series: Christian Life, Old Testament, New Testament, and Evangelism & Teacher Training. Each series has from 4-10 courses, with each course consisting of 12 lessons that you complete at your own pace. It’s the most flexible way to study and grow in your knowledge of God’s Word. Every course is written by experienced instructors and theologians with the approval of Moody Bible Institute, so you know you can trust the course materials to be biblically solid and practically helpful.
