More About This Translation
The Chinese Union Version was translated by a panel of members from many different Protestant denominations, using the English Revised Version as a basis and original manuscripts for crosschecking. When it was completed in 1919, the CUV was the first translated work to be published into vernacular Chinese. The punctuation has been updated to make the CUV even easier than ever to read.
The CUV is published by the Bible Society of Singapore, which is affiliated with the United Bible Societies.
