In the midst of a trial, it is often difficult to see any purpose to our suffering. Comfort for Troubled Christians will help people understand that God never leaves us nor forsakes us, especially in the dark times. The comforting Scriptural encouragement in this book explains God's part and purpose in testing and offers a pattern for success to all Christians who are "passing through fire." This book has already sold two million copies as a booklet and is now available in a more attractive, easier-to-read format.

This small and easy to read book helps the person who is going through a tough time understand that even then God's love and mercy shine through. It is a book that will help the Christian find peace in the midst of difficulty and trials. It offers a unique perspective and wonderful insights into how God works to purify His children—sometimes this process may be painful. Ultimately, God loves us and His blessing will be ours if we always learn to delight in the Lord. I read the book recently when I was going through a personally trying time and it gave me the perspective I need it to be able to sleep at night and to chart ahead when I actually felt without hope.

The death of a loved one after faith-filled prayers for healing. A heart-wrenching phone call. A lifelong dream broken. Have heartbreaks like these sent your faith in God reeling? Did He once seem able and ready to answer, but now He seems distant? Find out how you can persevere in the fight of faith even when you barely have the strength to crawl.

"However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" (Luke 18:8) Now is not the time to give up. God will be glorified in our trials. Written to encourage the weary to not lose heart, Bruce McDonald penned The Fight of Faith after seeing countless examples of men and women who lost confidence in God.

The Fight of Faith is an encouragement to my everyday walk. It gives me the feeling of putting on a fresh uniform, clean and ready for a new test.

—John Vanbiesbrouck, former NHL player

My friend Bruce [McDonald] sheds much needed light on the age-old question of ‘Where is God when life is falling apart?’ He takes us beyond the usual talk to a walk that will provide encouragement and strength to live out a radical, focused faith regardless of what life has dealt you.

—Joseph M. Stowell, Moody Bible Institute president
