"The contents of this book represent much meditation and study of a line of things not generally taken up by those who seek to instruct the Lord’s dear people. Before venturing to put this work in its present form I have searched through many volumes and spent much time in order to get as near as possible the real names, meaning and symbolism of the precious stones. After considerable thought and in answer to many requests I now publish these articles in book form: with the hope that it will direct the Lord’s people to Christ, Heaven and Home."
