Overview
In 1888, the Jewish Publication Society of America was founded in Philadelphia to provide Jewish immigrants’ children with English-language books about their heritage. I have the JPS Tanakh Commentary Series in print also & with the JPS Hebrew-English Tanakh they are a constant companion in my studies. I am eagerly looking forward to the future volumes being published. Thank God for the Jewish Publication Society!

I have had the JPS Torah series for more than 10 years. It continues to be a wealth of insight and scholarship. The remainder of the Tanakh commentaries would undoubtedly carry the same weight usefulness.
