Overview
A Treasury of Great Preaching has been written to provide inspirational reading, resources for study in history and homiletics, and tools for ministers in the preparation of their sermons, devotions, and religious writings.
Over ninety preachers and their sermons are included. The historical period covered is from the first century to 1995. Only one era has no representatives—the period from approximately A.D. 500 to 1000.

About the Authors
Clyde E. Fant Jr. is a former professor of preaching at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He teaches in the Department of Religious Studies at Stetson Univeristy in DeLand, Florida.
William M. Pinson Jr. received his B.A. from the University of North Texas and his M.Div. and Thd.D. from the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a distinguished visiting professor in Christian Ethics at Baylor University.
