Bible Study Essays

Logos Bible Software has been very helpful for me in several ways. In my Christian English class, I have to write an essay every week about a specific Biblical topic or passage. I am assigned a few Bible verses to study to get me started with the Bible study. Logos helps me to find other similar verses, and to understand the meaning of the verses I find during my Bible study.

I have been able to do the English assignments much faster than my brother did four years ago, who had to do most all the work by hand (by paper actually). No matter what the topic is for the Bible study and essay, Logos has a lot of information about it. I wrote a paper comparing and contrasting Jesus Christ and Solomon. I wrote a paper about how Jesus could be both just and merciful.

Whenever I write a paper, Logos helps me to not only find valuable information during the Bible study, but also to speedily develop an outline for the essay. With the Logos topic search I can find a concise list of points for the topic.

I also use the new to Logos 3.0 Bible Speed Search tool a lot. It is very helpful to speedily be able to find a Bible verse I remember something about, but not the reference. It has very advanced Boolean algebra functions. I often find other Bible verses doing my Bible study that apply well that I had not thought of using before.

All in all, the Logos software has helped me not only to be able to write papers faster and do Bible study more accurately, but also to find amazing facts that impress my English teacher! One of the assignments was to write down a few facts about Solomon, and my teacher was amazed by all the remarkable facts I was able to uncover. I am grateful that I have been able to use Logos Bible Software.
