Lutheran Lectionaries

One click of the mouse opens the Lectionary Viewer with the readings for the upcoming Sunday listed in their entirety. You can also easily view last Sunday's readings, check back 6 months, or look ahead a week, a month, or a year—all thanks to the power of Libronix. To get started using this tool with the two free Lutheran lectionaries, current Logos users can click the download button to the right.

IMPORTANT:

The Lectionary Viewer Addin is included in all Logos Bible Software 3 base packages except for the Original Languages Library. If you have an older base package that does not include the Lectionary Viewer Addin, you can now purchase it for only $19.95. But before you do, you should check out your upgrade options. Upgrading is by far the better value. By upgrading your base package to one of the new ones below, you will get the Lectionary Viewer Addin as well as many additional resources and tools! Upgrade now!

1. Click the Download button above to launch Libronix Update. Open or run the link if prompted by your browser. The two lectionaries will install automatically.

2. After the Lectionary has finished installing, open Libronix and navigate to the Logos Bible Software Home page.

3. Click “Customize View” below the date on the Home page, scroll down and check the boxes for Lectionary and the individual lectionaries or your choice, then scroll to the bottom of the Home page and click “Save Changes.” You may also access your new lectionaries from Tools > Bible Data > Lectionary Viewer.

About the Libronix Lectionary Viewer Addin

The Lectionary Viewer Addin is a wonderful tool which places the correct lectionary readings for the next upcoming Sunday (that includes the appropriate cycle—A, B, or C) right on your personal homepage within Libronix. If the next Sunday will be a Holy Feast Day, the regular readings for that date are replaced with the correct Holy Day readings as proscribed by the Lutheran Lectionary. Shown next to the date of the upcoming Sunday is the season and color of the Christian church year, followed by the Old Testament, Psalm, Epistle and Gospel citations for that Sunday, of course fully linked and just waiting to take you to the full verse with simply a mouse click.
