Follow the Instructions on this Page if...

  • You open "My Library" in Libronix and some/all of your resources are in light gray type (see screenshot at right).
  • You click on a resource in "My Library" and you receive a message reading "Resource Unavailable" or "Resource Missing".
  • There are specific resources you know you should have access to but they are not listed at all in "My Library".
  • You have installed Libronix on a second computer and have run your License Back Up file.

Please Note: If small yellow locks appear next to each book in "My Library" this solution will not unlock them. If books you own are appearing as locked in your library please contact customer support at 1(800)847-6467.

Step One - Loading Books

The necessary steps for loading books to your hard drive depends on the original delivery method of your book files.

If you purchased a DVD, CD, or CD set

  1. Open the Libronix Digital Library system and insert your disc into the drive.
  2. Watch for to appear in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. Click Here for a screenshot.
  3. When disappears go to Tools | Library Management | Location Manager.
  4. Make sure "List Resources" is set to "Unlocked on Removable Media" and "Destination" is set to "C:/Program Files/Libronix DLS/Resources".
  5. Check the box next to each resource you want copied to your hard drive. Uncheck the boxes next to any resource you do not want to copy.
  6. Click on the button in Libronix to start copying resources to your hard drive.
  7. After your books have been copied check to make sure they are now available in "My Library." If they are still missing, proceed to Step Two - Refresh Resources on this page.

If you purchased a downloadable product

  1. Close the Libronix Digital Library System.
  2. Open a new internet browser window and go to Logos.com by clicking here.
  3. Type in the name of the missing book or collection in the search box in the top left-hand corner of the Logos.com home page.
  4. Find the product page for your particular resource(s).
  5. If the product is downloadable, you will see the words "Download Book File" below the product's description. Click the filename link to bring up a File Download window and Save the book file to C:\Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources.
  6. Open Libronix, press Ctrl+L on your keyboad and check for your resource in "My Library."

Step Two - Refresh Resources

  1. If your resources are still missing after using Location Manager, go to Tools | Options | General.
  2. Click on on the left side of the "Options" window.
  3. Make sure C:\Program Files\Libronix DLS\Resources appears in the "Paths" box. If it does not, type that destination into the box next to the Browse button. Click on "Add Path."
  4. Click then click OK.
  5. Close the Libronix Digital Library System, wait about 15 seconds and then reopen it. (There is no need to restart your computer.)
  6. Once the program is open look for in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. If it does not appear, close Libronix, and restart your computer. Then open Libronix and again watch for .
  7. When disappears, check for your resources in "My Library" by hitting Ctrl+L.
