Logos Bible Software is looking for a temporary video editor to assist the Logos in-house video team in creating a video to promote a new DVD training series.
This entry-level job is perfect for a student studying or interested in video and a great opportunity to work with a creative video team.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include camera operation, editing screencasts in ScreenFlow and Final Cut Pro X, and possibly graphics work. You will communicate with in-house talent and managers in the review and approval process. You will be required to manage, organize, review and re-review large amounts of footage.
The ideal candidate for this job will have:
- Experience shooting video footage
- Experience editing video footage (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, or AVID)
- Proficiency with Macintosh computers
- Extreme attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Most importantly, motivation to quickly learn, communicate, and make an awesome video with our team
- Knowledge of biblical studies is a plus, but not required
The really ideal candidate
- Experience creating infographics
- Experience with color grading
- An understanding of Christian culture, language, and values
- Extensive experience in video production
- An online reel available for viewing
- Experience using 3DS Max or Cinema 4D
