Logos Bible Software is looking for an account manager to join our Ministry Development department.
Did you attend seminary? Have you pastored a church? Do you believe you have a decent knowledge of several different denominational groups and what they believe? Do you have good speaking and writing skills? Are you good at conversation? Do you have sales experience? Do you have drive and self-motivation? Are you familiar with major conferences (pastors, evangelical, denominational, etc.)? Are you familiar with names like: Francis Chan, Beth Moore, NT Wright, John Piper, Priscilla Shirer, John MacArthur, RC Sproul, Steven Furtick, Ed Stetzer, Al Mohler, Andy Stanley, Tim Keller, Greg Laurie, etc.? Do you use Logos Bible Software?
We’re looking for a candidate with those qualities and more who can work in our Ministry Development Department. This job would be located in beautiful downtown Bellingham, Washington.
Ministry Development is a department that works with conferences, denominations, major ministries, and churches. We work to be the face of Logos to all of these groups. This is our software presentation department.
Responsibilities
This job will require you to develop strong relationships with the above groups and work to create opportunities for Logos to present our technology so that it can equip pastors, leaders, academics, and lay people for more and better Bible study. This is a very integral position to Logos. You will be depended on to have the utmost integrity as you develop relationships with those outside of Logos. This is demanding work and will need a strong skill set to accomplish the goals we have set for this position. Only serious applicants need apply.
The ideal candidate
- Skills/Experience working with all Microsoft Office software—especially Outlook
- Good typing skills (especially good grammar/spelling)
- Seminary training with a broad understanding of the religious landscape (theology, organizational structure, key scholars/theologians/authors/speakers, etc.)
- Good conversational skills (especially on the phone)
- Sales experience
