Logos Bible Software around the world!
As the Logos Bible Software family continues to expand, we see more and more people from countries around the world purchasing our software. Isn’t it amazing, thinking that now you are one of tens of thousands of people around the world using the same advanced tools to develop your knowledge of Scripture?
With the growth of our family in new regions of the world, there has been a push to develop the Libronix DLS interface in multiple language formats to accommodate as many people as possible with our electronic library system.
Making Logos Available in Multiple Languages
There are a couple of ways that our family of users helps us make worldwide use of Logos Bible Software possible.
1. Help translate the user interface
If you would like to see the Logos Bible Software interface, including menus, dialog boxes, reports, etc., in another language, please contact bob@logos.com. We’ll send you a Microsoft Excel format spreadsheet. Simply translate the English text in Column A into the blank space in Column B and send it back. We’ll build the interface, test it, and make it available for download.
2. Help us license Bibles and reference works.
You can help us locate electronic source files for Bibles and reference works and provide contact information for publishers and/or copyright holders. We're interested in making resources available, and it's much easier with your help in identifying them, securing permission, and testing them.
The English-speaking world represents a large market for Bible study tools that can fund expensive development projects. It's our goal to see that the large investment made to support English-language Bible study pays dividends for the whole world. By making sure that all of our technical work is multilingual and "world-ready" we're able to make the fruits of our large investment available to brothers and sisters in much smaller markets for only a small incremental cost.
