Seven Men Who Rule the World from the Grave

  • Author: David Breese
  • Publisher: Moody
  • Publication Date: 1992
  • Pages: 240

Sample Pages: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5

Though their bodies lie cold and dormant, the grave cannot contain the influence these seven men have had on today's world. They continue to rule because they have altered the thinking of society. They generated philosophies that have been grasped by masses of people but are erroneous and anti-scriptural. As we continue to unknowingly subscribe to their philosophies we keep the grave open for Charles Darwin, Karl Marx, Julius Wellhausen, John Dewey, Sigmund Freud, John Maynard Keynes, and Søren Kierkegaard. Author Dave Breese warns us of the dangers of believing unreservedly the ideas of these seven men. He also reminds us of the only man whose life and words we can trust completely—Jesus Christ.

The notorious seven men and their philosophies have over time infiltrated schools, government and society, effectively planting their own ‘truth’ in replacement of Biblical truth. The work of these men, although sometimes unintentional, attempts to thwart Scripture as a basis for morality, absolute truth and wisdom. With a separate chapter devoted to each man and his theories, this is an eye-opening look at society and how rampant the ideals of these seven men have become—a must-read for Bible scholars, pastors and laypeople.

Everyone who is looking for truth should read Seven Men Who Rule the World from the Grave. Darwin, Marx, Freud, Kierkegaard, Wellhausen, Keynes, Dewey. . . all have had a profound impact on the worldview held by most in modernity and the resultant cultural decline in Western Culture. Dave Breese details these seven seminal thinkers and the effects of each of these seven men's works . . . to lead people away from truth and away from a Christian worldview . . .
