Lectionary Viewer Addin
Overview
The Lectionary Viewer Addin is a calendar, or schedule of scripture readings, that follows the traditional church calendar allowing you to match your Bible reading (or sermon preparation) to the various seasons and core doctrines of the Church such as Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, and the Trinity.
This addin is currently available only for Libronix 3.0 on the Windows platform.
The Lectionary Viewer Addin is included in all Logos 3 base packages except for Original Languages Library. If you have a package with Lectionary Viewer Addin included, you can add it to the homepage via the "Customize View" link on the homepage.
To access the Lectionary Viewer Addin on your home page, you will need to have a Logos Bible Software 3 base package or the Logos Bible Software Addin. If you don't have either, you can still access the Lectionary Viewer from Tools > Bible Data > Lectionary Viewer.

The Lectionary Viewer is a wonderful tool which places the correct lectionary readings for the next upcoming Sunday (that includes the appropriate cycle—A, B, or C) right on your personal homepage within Libronix. If the next Sunday will be a Holy Feast Day, the regular readings for that date are replaced with the correct Holy Day readings as proscribed by the Lutheran Lectionary. Shown next to the date of the upcoming Sunday is the season and color of the Christian church year, followed by the Old Testament, Psalm, Epistle and Gospel citations for that Sunday, of course fully linked and just waiting to take you to the full verse with simply a mouse click.
The word "lectionary" comes from the Latin word "lectio" meaning "a reading." The Lectionary Addin is a calendar, or schedule of scripture readings, that follows the traditional church calendar.
